My MacBook Pro battery looked swollen, and I tried to resolve it by opening the back panel and checked out connections and removed some screws underneath the swollen section to further save the lifespan. However, after finding out from research that it is not advisable to continue the usage and the battery swollen was increasing by each day with normal usage. I had two options left, one is to either replace the battery or to replace the laptop with complete new one. With budgetary constraints, I had no option available other than to replace the batteries in my old MacBook Pro and ensure that the battery is compatible. Since I have been using 2012 MacBook Pro, the OEM battery option was ruled out, as Apple has stopped the manufacturing of older version of batteries and finding reliable battery available in online shopping network is one of the most complicated process.
